This is how so much of the "leadership" at companies think. There is a company near me who even asks Sr devs who have been out of school for close to 10+ years if they had a 3.0 GPA. Just having something doesn't make you qualified to do it let alone be good at it.

The MIT grads as air traffic controllers bit is hilarious. Trump legit thinks that engineering experts will not only willing to not work in their desired field, they will be good at mass management of travel because of the name on their diploma.
