Happens to me quite frequently! Thank goodness I work at a library so I can easily get my hands on them. Then it just becomes a question of which one to read first? 📚
Agreed. My library system allows “suspended” holds, so you can choose dates to try and space out when holds arrive. Still a bit of a guess but worth a shot.
True. I recently suspended a bunch if holds, spacing out their start dates, and still ended up getting 4 in one week. Kinda felt like hitting the jackpot though, LOL.
I hear ya. I usually check 'em all out, end up reading one and returning all, then rescheduling the others for later... and the wonderful cycle continues.
My library lets you opt for the next person waiting to have the book then you would be up again after them. Helps with the too many books, not enough time dilemma.
Bad news? No such thing! Go pick up your new foster books! They need you! The bad news is only when your child learns to put books on hold on your account and you go, thinking its one of yours, and its NOT!
We get a couple of weeks to collect here, so I try to time it so I pick some when I’m notified, and some nearer the deadline so I’ve got borrowing time to read them all. I do adore my local library 💙📚 #booksky
