Because businesses love raids, right? So why do so many “businesspeople” vote for Temp? They always think policies won’t affect them.

Well, the chance of it happening to any one business is small, so that limits backlash. There IS a long 20th century history of raids being coordinated with big growers to keep the labor force compliant. Less so in the 21st century, but it’s still rare for employers to face serious consequences.
