Take Kirby or Mario Party for example the Switch 2 edition is $80 US. If you look at the text of the physical copy it includes the Switch 1 cart for the game and a upgrade pack.

Ask Nintendo. They like the industry will probably say increase dev costs, inflation, whatever, blah blah blah.

I won't be surprised if PS5 and Xbox Series games will also creep up in price.

It's a new normal and I hate it.
