This was one of the most striking pieces of hate - brought it home to me that it’s not about religion, or sexuality, or politics - it’s just that some people are looking for difference they can use to target with violence.

Could I ask if you have a link for that you'd be happy to share, or a starting point to look? This is something I'm planning to work into a session about online culture in future, and the positive aspects of group-specific spaces for young people who don't feel like they fit anywhere else.
