I saw Neil Young at Hyde Park in 2009. Still one of the best concerts I’ve attended. And still I agree completely with this. He’s way out of line with this nonsense criticism.
Also Hyde Aprk was sponsored by international chain guard Rock cafe in 2009. Didn’t seem to both Mr Young then.
Corporate indeed.
Incidentally, I've only made it to Glasto once (mid 2000s) - Leonard Cohen was on, and from memory he refused to have his set televised.
Cohen's set was possibly the best thing I ever saw at Glastonbury. Absolutely wonderful.
