Since I was born in 1986 MLB has had more different champions than any other of the big four which all have salary caps. It’s annoying what the Dodgers are doing, no doubt, but the league and players voted for it and they’re just smart enough to maximize it.

Hard salary cap would expose FRAUDGERS "money to fail" scheme and limit their ability to outspend mistakes, quickly recover by signing more high-priced talent.

They wouldn't be able to buy their way out of bad contracts, poor roster decision; have to operate with same constraints as other teams.

One difference: the Chiefs drafted and developed most, if not all, of their core. The Dodgers are buying everyone in free agency. People are usually OK with sustained success if it's done through developing. Take Lebron. If he had stayed in CLE his whole career and won 6 titles there, fewer haters.
