Like: the reason giantesses are more associated with size fetish than male giants has to do with the straight male gaze and patriarchy for sure. The idea that femmy body types are inherently more provocative than masc ones. And that bias exists in pretty much all other kink communities.

This isn’t a macrophilia-specific issue by any means. And you are absolutely discounting the whole gay/bisexual/androsexual genre of macrophile media here. Metabods, Coiled Fist, Outsized… there have been avenues and spaces for Male Giant stories and art since Macrophile-dot-com was a thing in 1994.

This is part of why giantess content is so dominating in the macrophilia space. People view men as dominant and so they think giantess content is "turning the tables". People think that women are weak and so they think giantess content is again "turning the tables".

Men are not dominant or submissive, they are who ever they want to be. Just because patriachy exists and society revolves around them doesn't make them inheriantly dominant. It just means they got lucky with society.

It is ok for men to like giantesses. But don't expect all women to want to be a giantess. My other point why it is rooted in sexism is that there is a word for just female giants, giantess, but no word for just male giants. Men need their own word too if women have it.

The next time you want to make any type of media discussing macrophilia. Don't be exclussive and consider talking about it's sexist roots. I wanted to talk about this because barley anyone who talks about macrophilia achknowledges it's sexist origins.
