Not always. There are countries where judges enable authoritarians. And the US federal judiciary is a very mixed bag particularly at the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court levels

I think it’s more than just losing the judiciary branch. A solid 1/3 of voters already aware of all of this. The other 2/3rds either are onboard with what’s happening or are not paying attention because they live a comfortable life already. Not much will change until it personally affects them.
