Ted Leo & The Pharmacists - Living With The Living
i think people sleep on this one compared to a lot of other ted leo albums... it's always been a personal favorite. there's just something about it i really connected with. bomb repeat bomb is such a good anti-war song, just dripping with spite
this band always blows me away. super dreamy pop rock, incredible guitar riffs... i always just get lost in the soundscape of this one. if you listen to any album i post here make it this one. and if you listen to any track make it devotion
oh fuck i have a lot of these to do still. i love this one: Beirut - No No No. it's low key my favorite beirut album it's so fun and light and it's just a good vibe. super short though it's literally not even 30 minutes long but every second of it is lovely
this probably won't be the last REM album on this list. they're way too foundational for my music taste. this one's special though... i'm getting older, you know? i'm starting to settle into my life. the mood of this album has really felt relevant to me lately

80s/90s-inspired instrumental synth. feels like a rare correct execution of the concept of "vaporwave"
i honestly just do not know how yvette young does it. she's so damn cool
