i went from working homeless to financially secure.

I've been seeing the same therapist for the 7 years of this journey.

It is WILD how not struggling for food and rent has coincided with the complete absence of thoughts of self-harm.

Don't get me wrong, therapy has helped me

but the security of having basic needs met brought me out of what was physically and mentally killing me.

I still struggle with food hoarding and not wanting to eat food because "what if I NEED it later and it's not there?"

I've been full and sad, but never *truly hungry* and happy
