Lower Decks should run for all eternity man. Fuck cancellation, keep them as a running commentary on all the Trek shows for forever. I don‘t wanna let this go 😭

What I'd like to see is - Below the Lower Decks. Where the oppressed workers are on the edge of revolt - like the Lower Level People on Silo or the workers in the classic Metropolis. 😆 #startrek #film #tv
I feel like Lower Decks is perfectly positioned for a series of feature films. I’m putting this out into the universe in the hopes it actually manifests.
There are so many tropes that are specific to Trek films that I feel LD could play off of. If they don’t do it they are leaving money on the table, imo.
I watched the latest earlier today and it was a rollercoaster of success. There were so many things that were just brilliant with it. I swear they're just kitchen-sinking this season.

Mariner may be brash and have little regard for procedure, but she's still got the same progressive and heartfelt values as TNG-era Trek.
Yes, the show was cancelled after season 5 just to get more money for Paramount's buyout.
It was only scheduled for 5 seasons.
