Like, Captain America was pretty damned toothless. I would argue there wasn’t room for that type of commentary in a movie that is purely existing to move the overall plot forward, but why are we wasting Sam Wilson and Isiah Bradley like that

Anthony Mackie carried the heck out of this film. It had no depth at all for the most part, but the depth it did have was given it by Mackie‘s performance and also how he played together with Harrison Ford. He oozes Cap, he was exactly right for this role

I heard someone say Anthony Mackie didn’t have the charisma to be cap AFTER seeing this movie and I have no idea wth they were talking about.

There’s hints of it there with Sam and Isaiah’s interactions, but yeah… it’s wasted for the most part.
