When I was 16, I would read approximately one "Christian romance" book every few days. Most of them carried the harmful 'not like other girls' trope and greatly contributed to my internalized misogyny.

While I think this trope is alive and well, it's nowhere to be seen in @courtneymilan.com's books

It may be less common, but there are still women out there who think that many, if not most, other women are fake, vapid people who don’t care about anything important and she is one of the Good Ones who is not like other girls.
