I saw some people talking about Katy Perry's pathetic history of failed political endorsements, but we also need to take a hard look at Eminem's electoral history

I feel like Katy's endorsements are targeted because it so often feels like a performance from her, yet another show, to be "the spectacle, not the spectator," while Eminem's come from a place of genuine belief.
Like I think it's a feeling that Katy's endorsements would change or go to others if she felt it made more of a splash, so not anything deeply held, while Eminem's are his sincere attitudes, so it doesn't matter what others say, he'll continue to hold to them.
I’m more fascinated in how he made music about being an angry misogynistic white dude and then was shocked his base liked trump like buddy no one has made their bed more than you.
Not true, he actually did an anti-Bush song in "Encore" called Mosh and it was one of the better songs off that flawed album. There was also another demo that got canned because it had the line "Dead presidents" in it in a way that came off as a threat to Bush.

There's nothing anything she's ever said that suggests she looks at anything beyond surface level.
