Wow! Just watched S6 E13 of Deep Space Nine, Far Beyond the Stars. It’s a tour de force from all involved. Simply one of finest episodes of storytelling in the entire Trek canon.

It's amazing
It was & still is the best ever!!
Also... for me it's up there alongside The Visitor (Rest In Peace Tony Todd), on my top 5 DS9 episodes.

To him, and to us all, they can be real.
Great work from Avery Brooks both in front of and behind the camera.

> The act of imagining possibilities like these is sacred and incredible. When you feel beset by a cruel eternity, it is a vital act of defiance.

The characters took a big turn in that episode, you have to watch as they develop, which means Season 1 Ep 1 (you have your homework)!!
A few sentences about what Sisko was dealing with was enough for the folks I had watch it to understand the premise and enjoy the story.
Are you watching specific episodes or rewatching all of DS9?
Thank you again and congratulations on your National Humanities Medal!

Brexit almost made it a reality..
It’s one of my absolute favorite episodes of Star Trek. I rewatch it often.
From the superb acting, the powerful writing and story, to the incredible costume and set designs. It’s not just sci-fi perfection. It’s storytelling perfection.
Not blaming: someone said yesterday the best thing about ST is by the time you've watched everything you'll have forgotten some & can start over.
One of the best eps, and great seeing all the actors who normally have to wear tons of prosthetics playing humans.
My favorite episode of Trek is In the Pale Moonlight, but I think you need to be a streak fan to fully appreciate it.

I wasn’t really of fan of DS9 until I saw “Duet” (season 2 I think) and it blew me away.
Just an incredible story with a great twist followed by an even better one.
One of my fav Trek episodes from any series, no doubt.
Although not from Deep Space 9
It's 100% what Star Trek should be. A gut punch statement about our society.
Hopefully as part of a complete series (re)watch. 🖖🏼😇
I mean, they must have a shrine with an old photo of me surrounded by tea lights, because they make exactly the kind of Star Trek I like.
That can't be sustainable, right? Gotta reach a wider audience, right?
Certainly not people spending hundreds of thousands of dollars an episode to make a fantastic television show!
I still get all the feels about this episode.
