One of the reasons I moved back to Hawaii to live with my sister is they have much better healthcare system and nothing is too far away. Turned out to be a really good decision because I got very sick with long Covid and this past year I’ve been in the hospital four or five times.

This is terrible and will hurt a lot of folks, but is your son’s care covered by Medicare? If not, your son’s visits may still be covered by your insurance at least for now. Private insurance often follows Medicare, but this won’t directly impact private coverage.

This is not a Trump cut, Medicare (NOT medicaid) telehealth is from the Covid era and this was its end date. Congress should make it permanent, IMO, it is such a good benefit. I will lose the best psychiatrist I've ever had in 50 years of dealing with Major Depression.
