Roberta Flack lived in the DC area & gave piano lessons, and as the still going Mr. Henry's restaurant/club noted on their IG today-, she began singing professionally when she was hired to perform regularly at Mr. Henry’s Restaurant, located on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. in 1968. RIP
