I'm sure glad we waited for high quality data to roll in tho, when you know, if anyone with half a brain had to bet in 2020 on whether masked worked, they would've bet on 'they work'. But maybe exceptional intelligence was required to bet wrong

That doesn't mean the risks come from receipt of the medications, but rather that the disadvantages associated with major mental illness may place individuals at elevated risk of blood borne infection, and this should be taken into account in screening guidelines.
