Neither does spelling bee. I just checked. I do weirdly named but seemingly identical 'Blossom' on Merriam Webster site. The rub with NYT comes when you want to hold onto knowing your past scores. Let it go I say! Also you won't be hassled about maintaining any 'streak'. Who needs that pressure?!

I subscribed for the cooking app, and all access was cheaper than JUST paying for cooking. Every time I open their news it’s an opinion like, “90% of Canadians say they don’t want to merge with the USA, but maybe they aren’t looking at it the right way?”

Blossom for the Win. Same game I'm pretty sure (weird 80s TV name aside)-compliments of Merriam-Webster. No fees. You can even do old ones/redo. I hadn't tried Spelling Bee until today but seems ~same. For wordle I just do it with no subscription, ignore ad, & let old scores go. Who even cares?
