Guiltridden of too great a loss, pilot Lohnkämpfer finds comfort in a trance induced by her Handler, who keeps close by her during sorties. While under, her Handler replaces who she lost, and this new chance to fight doggedly for her beloved as a loyal knight will not be squandered.

The body of the robot is far less readable in the followup than it is in the concept art, and feels less cohesive
With the utmost respect for your work, I prefer the sketch
In my home country I would be scorned for not sharing this with you.
I apologise if my response is inappropriate.
Thank-you for sharing your artwork with us.
My eureka moment was recognizing a dissociation of the pelvis via volumes: either through a second hip or pre-thigh (akin to insect legs)
Note the one on the right. The dark area doesn't interrupt the thigh shape, but does infer a wider pelvis than that which exists
Its an illusion!
I'm not representative of a general audience, so this is likely me nitpicking which it is probably best to disregard.
BTW I still think about your hdg fic, cured my tummy dysmorphia, my hubbie thanks you
what medium is this? it looks like a digital painting, but then I saw renders further down the thread?
It's a mix of 3D models, a bit of photo collage and finally digital painting. The 3D model is stitched together from parts of ripped game models, the photos are of my own hands and then everything gets a coat of painting to tie it all together.
Few pilots are as eager to be sent to battle as her.
