Whether they were "looking for trouble" isn't really a legal factor in determining whether or not the force used was reasonable & justifiable. So far, the reports are Karmelo was pushed. Stabbing typically isn't a reasonable response to a push. https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/PE/htm/PE.9.htm#9.32

Both of those actions are assault
If Anthony assaulted a white girl and she stabbed him in self defense would you agree with that?
Thx in advance
If Anthony pushed a "white girl" or any girl, IDGAF what race she is, stabbing him wouldn't typically be a reasonable response in that case either.
I think most people would think in danger of life wouldn't be out of the question.
If Anthony assaulted a white girl and she stabbed him in self defense too many people would think she was justified in similar situation.
This wasn't alone in an alley. There were dozens of bystanders, including teachers & coaches, who could intervene to prevent a beating.
I have black kids in a PWHS, I now see what happened even more now.
I'm pissed to no end if the part about the teachers and coaches is true ... HORRIBLE !! F**kin horrible!!
Grabbing at someone's property in this context is assault

Do you think stabbing is an appropriate response to a push or grab? If you do, pretty much every concert/sporting event line in America is going to have bodies stacked up next to it like cordwood.
Karmelo Anthony has no claim of self-defense.
That's some sorry s**t right there,
If Anthony assaulted a white girl and she stabbed him in self defense would you agree she was justified?
