The biggest reason this is a fucking horrible move is it is a major paradigm shift that will fuck the US economy to current core. Services have not been subject to tariffs anywhere. The US is a net exporter of services so changing tariffing services will reduce US export of services.

American studios yes but the actual production of films is being done over seas more and more since Hollywood film unions are so strong. So yes an American company is making money but American workers are not.
