The one thing I never understood was all the hate around Dr Pulaski. I always felt Dr Pulaski was awesome, if not rudely abrasive towards Data. Given that Data is also one of my favorite characters, I can understand why some people didn't like Dr Pulaski, but she wasn't a bad person.

I completely agree - I think the writers were keen to have another Kirk/MCoy situation, and the ingredients didn't quite come together as hoped, but there's no call at all for hate!
