I've had it just over 4 years now. Absolutely love it. Easy to work on and tweak it as desired. Have you modified yours at all or is it stock?

So far, the only thing I have changed is the rear tire. That's only because I ran over a nail. The last owner put a Madstad windscreen on it, changed the grips, added engine guards, and moved the ignition switch.

I changed the rear tire almost immediately. Had a few scares in the corners, losing a bit of traction. Nothing aggressive, but it did seem too easy to break traction. Ended up trying the Darkside.

Awesome! I had a 2006 VTX 1300c before I got the Rocket. Funny enough, I started out on a Shadow. I loved the VTX but I kind of miss the Shadow more. How long have the two of you been riding?

Ive been riding about 30 years, my gf just started.
This is her first bike, i got it for her for her bday.. I had to lower it for her with a kit and shorter shocks.

Had an 04 1300 prior to this one. Love the VTXs!!

I tried one of these out a long while back. There was a Triumph shop in Paris that would let you test ride one of their bikes if you had a full license and a helmet. I borrowed a helmet and took one out for a spin. Loved it! I didn't buy because of the infernal equation: Sebadee+motorbike=divorce!

Nice ride!!! I'm Neurodivergent, and I ride a 2017 BMW S1000R and a 2009 Kawasaki er6N and a 2012 Kawasaki KLR650!! Mostly on the S1KR, though. Lol.

I started on dirt bikes and quads. I got the KLR in 2015. Rode it around the country for 8 months. Loved every minute of it!!! But the KLR is slow and heavy. I haven't really been on it much besides maintenance in a few yrs now tbh. The S1KR is another world of beast. It's 2.7 - 60 and 10.5 - 165.

Noice. I want to get into off-road riding. I had a Honda Grom that I was in the process of turning into a mini adv bike. My girlfriend, who was learning to ride, wrecked on it. It was totaled. More importantly, she's ok now. Though she did break her arm.

Oh no!!! Sorry she broke her arm!! 😢 i hope she is better now!!! A KLR is the Best Dual sport you can get for the price!!! I custom built my KLR inside and out for around 10k. That thing got me around the country with a passenger numerous times np. On and off rd beast.

We appreciate it. That happened back in the summer. She's mostly healed now. The fracture was right below her elbow. Every once in a while, it will give her some trouble.

The picture of me on my side was narrow setup with lightweight chair and doing a gymkhana. Only time I have lost control in over 40 years of sidecarring. There are plenty of books etc about it all.You can ignore most of it with powerful bike heavy sidecar set wide. Towing a trailer from middle helps

Sidecar set-up depends on intended usage. If it's all highway or just scooting about you can get away with a very basic set-up. Off road = money. I set up wide and heavy with big bike. If done right sidecar never lifts and you just point and go. Small and narrow needs practice and techniques.

Urals tend to just work while running. No power. 80kmh top end. Lots of maintenance. Some people love them.They don't suit me as I haul 3 kitchen sinks and an electric bed in my camper trailer. Gsx1400 will cruise all day at 110kmh and get 13km/l.

Managed to put 4000Km on it since June, I would take it everytime I leave my house if I could. I have the itch already to go for the next size up, but budgeted for 2 years on this coz the test is not cheap in Austria where I am. Good point here is open roads in every direction.

The bike is solid for its (little) engine size, easy to control and maintain, and comfortable so far, though I only have mopeds to compare with. I managed one 450km ride with mostly just a sore thumb from poor gloves (fixed)

So you are definitely hooked. 125cc bikes are fun. I used to have a Honda Grom. If you have the space and can afford it, I would suggest keeping the 125. I would love to tour Europe on a motorcycle someday.

If you can ever catch a Triumph demo day, you should definitely give it a shot. How do you like the Motoguzzi? I know they have a lot of history as a brand, but I've never seen one in person on the street.

As for the Guzzi; I love it. It's incredibly friendly, but hows power and speed when you need it. Great for a first big bike, if you can handle the vibes from it.

You don't see many of them, which is sad. They have terrible marketing.

It was easy! Give your bike a good clean and fill the tank all the way with fuel. Get some fuel stabilizer and mix that in with your gas. Cover your air box and exhaust, make sure your oil is changed, and disconnect your battery and place it on to a tender. You got this<3
