Okay, but I don't think you understand. With the state of cancel culture as it is now, often a celebrity's closest friends will deny them. Sometimes multiple times.

An unpleasant mix of irresponsible interviewing - when someone's 90 I think it is ok to re-explain nuances of contemporary culture and point out contradictions - and Telegraph clickbait. Using under-informed remarks for their own ends.
Basically I don't think this is fair on the subject.
