They haven't learned anything with WW2. hitler's SS were more sophisticated than russian army today, they did a terrible damage to mostly of Europe's army but still were decimated by the Brits. They think they will wage war forever, but their end is incredibly sooner than they believe.

So the plan is to wait for Zelensky to reject whatever cockamamie peace deal the “dynamic duo” will come up with and then ask the US for 3 things:

1) To stop financial and military aid to Ukraine.

2) To turn off Starlink for the AFU.

3) To stop sharing images from US satellites with Ukraine.

Note that the Russian State Duma is already urging Musk to turn off Starlink for the Ukrainian army: “This step would be humane on the part of Musk and, perhaps, would push Ukrainian President Zelensky to listen to the words of the American authorities.”
