mostly just coming to the conclusion that HiDive would take their place as the dominant anime streamer, a few more highly wanted shows fall through the cracks on the licensing end, and this leads to a bit of a fansubbing scene resurgence

Maybe hidive will figure out that if I watched the episodes 2 3 and 4 yesterday I might want to watch 5 today and not have to search for it and have no indication which one i was on.
Disney+/Hulu/Netflix etc get a little bit more aggressive with licensing the anime that normies are likely to care about, ANN sees some revenue drops for a bit, and not much else changes other than we get some amusing memes about Crunchyroll Hime's funeral
