Some of them even pretend like there's no non-con in the game but half the storylines are just coercion or variations on lust potions. In conclusion: make the queer games weird

It feels as if there is this belief by some that if queer people are seen as liking something problematic, it's a bad representation of everyone who is queer. I would assume hentai artists will have those who are against any risky content, but I would assume it's smaller due to the target audience.

I want to say it's a difference in culture, and I can hypothesize a couple of reasons why this cultural difference is there. But for queer people, I feel some of these attacks come from a place of wanting to enforce a unified queer experience and culture that fails to accept our unique differences.
