yes the additional labour of access building is completely tiresome and often take us away from our jobs and social lives.

Boarded train this morning ♿️🚆. Had to first (kindly) ask a mom to move kids out of the wheelchair companion seats.
5 mins later had to (politely) ask another to fold her pram so I’d have bathroom access.
Luckily they were nice—but it’s exhausting that poor design causes such confrontation/labor.
