Luke Kelly of the Dubliners died on 30 January 1984 in Dublin aged just 43 years old. His gravestone in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin, bears the inscription: "Luke Kelly – Dubliner". Go raibh suaimhneas síoraí air.
