Check this out @draftnerds.bsky.social. I've been saying we need a disruptive pass rusher. No QB we have ever faced in the playoffs had a hard time. This bears that out as a true outlier.

Ed Reed is 1/1. Besides Marlo, I can't really think of another ball hawk in recent years who is constantly in the DB conversation. Maybe Deion, but that's it. And Champ Bailey.
For sure. I think QBs are better and D schemes are more risk averse. You have to really trust a player to let them freelance, but that’s how you get picks.
I agree. I think a disruptive defender is more valuable than a good offensive player. Because the rules are against the defense. If you can thrive in today's rules on defense then you are rare.
Yep, much easier to find a very good WR/TE outside of the first round. But really hard to find disruptive defenders even by the time the ravens are picking in the late first round.
I’ve been screaming about the insane lack of turnovers created since 2020. It’s pretty much extreme to be the beneficiary of only two turnovers thru 4 games.
It’s also the biggest indictment on the Harbs coaching system. After getting the lead in Buffalo, they played a soft cover 2 on 3rd and 8 as opposed to generating pressure. The failure to play aggressively early in games is likely the biggest contributor to lack of turnover generation.

How hard could it be?

8 games is insanity.
