Whenever I adjust the tension I snap the thread so I tend to assume the tension is okay π€πΌ

I have to wonder if these machines were purposefully built just to make us look bad?
I used to make a lot of clothes back then.
I sort of wonder about "patterns", those stuffed envelopes with great art on the cover showing what could potentially be made.
It took me to getting into art school (where I had to make wooden frames for my own canvasses) and a technician who wasn't a sadist before I began to believe in myself again.
What did I learn? That I can do things. Trust me, we both can.
Whether we want to is a different matter. π
