Started doing media calls on the immigration EOs. Reporters ask at the end of interviews, "Is there anything else you would like to add?" I circle back around to these points in Evan's 🧵. Birthright citizenship is black letter law unchangeable by EO or statute, independent of what SCOTUS does.

I’m not going to predict what the Supreme Court will do. I will say, again and again, that if you wait for a reactionary Supreme Court to tell you what the Constitution means, you will get a reactionary constitutional order. So, don’t do that.
