The pattern from reading too many law journal articles for my research is too many lawyers want to make a unique legal argument as contribution but are too willing to just cherry pick whatever evidence they want and ignore the rest like it never happened or doesn’t matter…although works for SCOTUS

Isn't this attempt to revoke birthright citizenship an attempt to create a pretext for revoking the citizenship of anyone the Trump administration doesn't like? Compare the case of Shamima Begum, whose UK citizenship was revoked in 2019.

One of those professors, Ilan Wurman, is the child and grandchild of people who fled Poland, Russia, and Poland before ending up in Israel. Then they came to the US. He was born two years later so likely a beneficiary of birthright citizenship. (continued)

There was a ship called the St. Louis full of Jewish refugees fleeing Hitler. The US would not admit the people as they did not have the proper papers. It returned to Europe and some of the passengers ended up back in Germany and were killed in the Holocaust. (cont)

They are talking their way to what i said already. Without birthright citizenship, NONE of us are citizens. Doesn't matter if your parents were, they can say you aren't
