People will call this sort of stuff anti-democratic, but it is more an illustration that voters can't elect Republicans and then try to carve out one special area where they don't want Republican governance. Its all or nothing, unless you can make these people fear for their offices.

The Missouri Supreme Court has put the state's abortion ban back into effect following an appeal from AG Andrew Bailey.
This was only possible after lawmakers passed a bill in April allowing the AG to challenge preliminary injunctions.
