The point is.... making decisions based on conversations over pints down the pub with your mates who played decades ago, isn't where its at. It makes the Dof look silly and weak.
Just thought it was fair to defend Thelwell in this instance - I don't think it is weak leadership to decide against bringing in new coaching staff when the Head Coach does not want them.
Thelwell not sacking Dyche could be viewed as weak but that's a separate argument...
