It's been 'inevitable' for a while but Putin hasn't been stabbed in the back by his oligarch/FSB friends. The Nationalisation of Russian companies into 'state' ownership still seem to operate as normal. The oligarchs seem content, the peasants too weak to revolt. Putin has got it sewn up.
