This has to release on current gen, one of the Digital Foundry guys made a good point that even if it will come out in 2028 (it will sooner) it would have to support PS5 and at least Series X for financial reasons

Yea it makes sense. It's entirely possible by then though, Microsoft has some sort of stipulation that if the game is "native" to next gen, it isn't required to run on Series S even if it comes to current gen. Possibly only being capable of streaming to series S to ensure compatibility.
