Pretty sure they can afford that income tax, WE dont afford going under the bridge when we will lose the jobs and the health coverage. Did you see a hospital bill recently?

It sounds like your sane and a good proposal would be to tax all who want to pay 60% income tax and they can have free healthcare. I’ll keep as much of my pay as I can and pay for my healthcare. Usually the proposal is tax the rich to pay at least Denmark understand the need to pay for it at 60%

I have heard that about Denmark many times, and learned about it decades ago.
We should charge Congress to seriously look at how our "allies" handle those issues, and take notes. Then, in full-on The Magicians mode, take the best parts, mash them up, and come up with a plan for the US.
