Or constantly looking at something that needs to be done, so you grit your teeth and do it, knowing that it's going to hurt like hell but there's no one else around that will do it for you. But at least you're still able to do it, for now, so there's that.
Arthritis screams at me constantly, but sometimes I just have to ignore it and get some exercise. Which feels great in the moment (not so much later). It's always something, right?
For me, a complete change of diet provided a huge decrease in chronic pain. Inflammation it turnes out is greatly influenced by what I eat. Wish I'd known this decades ago.
