Me2, but note in Lk we have been dealing with the late ministry of teaching in the temple, which ends in Jn 10. And I remember a level of Lk-Jn crossovers, this being one. Jn 7 fits here better than between Jn 7:52-8:12! After 57 years of keeping this office, it still blows me away!
New Bluesky, hard to follow. Somewhere you asked about the historical theology of Yale. I wanted to note that a good example would be Kathyrn Tanner, who seem from my chair undervalued in Anglican circles. My blog sought to make her the talk of Omaha & I have Utube talk on her as an Anglican.
In the earliest manuscripts we have of the woman caught in adultery, the pericope appears after Luke 21:38 which is where yesterday's lesson finished. I assume the choice was made to move it to probable original position in the lectionary.
