Both bears were crafted by @celesteisbest.bsky.social 's paternal grabdmother before she passed away. There are at least 3 more floating around in the world who share this special origin.

He’s been with me since I was smaller than him.
Angela (on the right), named after another Black Rights Activist, resurfaced only yesterday, looking almost brand new.
As far as we know, she hasn't been seen in 20 years.
An impossible thing that was not even on my radar as a possibility.
She even smells different than the house she was hiding in. She is... special and I can't fully articulate why.
But things that somehow beat all odds and ended up with me is just...
It's a feeling I want other people to know. It's so important to be able to feel the love from someone from so long ago- even if you never met them.
To have things that somehow feel like they were meant as gifts for myself and Cele specifically-
