Content creator is the worst thing added to the lexicon. It encourages creatives to devalue themselves upfront. Number fixation bc of anxiety about visibility is one thing, but creating only for numbers is just… demoralising.

I’ve learned this lesson myself over the years. Feeling good about your own art should matter above what others think or how many likes it gets.

Im on the same boat
Like yes I am happy that I do get some numbers don't get me wrong

But at the same time I'm totally fine with only one person seeing my art, if could make one person happy I do feel happy too

Yes, I mean, I'm really happy to see mutuals and friends reaching goals in followers or likes, but seeing that that's the only thing they care about is a bit tiring for me.

I see so many artists with burnout from forcing themselves to make entire pieces every week and that is not good or healthy.

Yea this i agree with, i won't like i once was about numbers but now it warms my heart when i see special people, friends and mutuals want to see more of my art it means a lot.
