They do have a ridiculous footprint. In my area though it’s not in preferred locations which is why the stores are going out of business. Maybe in big cities it’s a different story. - ThreadSky

I hate Walgreens but use them because CVS doesn't take my insurance. Looking for another option now. IMO the biggest problem with both chains is understaffing.

I get the heebie jeebies in Costco. They are overwhelmingly huge and even though I have a vague sense of where the things I need are I find the sheer volume oppressive.

Hence my love of the little pharmacy on a Scottish High St
