Yep. Noticed this constant attack on vic premier (esp by anika smethurst) & fed govt 12 months ago.... so I don't buy or subscribe to the age anymore. The only counter to this is social media posts by the premier /pm to get their achievements known. Unfortunately J Allen's posts are dreadful.

Agree, the political social media posts are as scary as the decline of the Age. There’s no doubt that ex-Murdoch hack Smethurst’s employment was part of a rapid cultural change strategy. It’s interesting that the SMH has been left alone.

Might be because they saw Jacinta Allen as a target after Dan Andrews. (& qld). What Allen is failing to do is promote her achievements on instagram etc. Her posts are self indulgent & failing to sell positive msgs against the balance bn MSM & SM. (Andrews was good at this & ignored MSM negativity

Absolutely. Haven’t touched The Age newspaper with a barge pole for the past five years or so. Hated their constant attacks on Dan Andrews, and their moronic platforming of cafe owners and RW haters. Now they are after Albanese. So sick of them
