The conversation is silly BOTH ways.
It’s absurd for TERFs to insist we are all men. It’s asking people to ignore the reality of successful transitions.
It’s also silly for us to insist we are not natal males. We do start out that way.

The language is so problematic as well. “Gender identity”, it’s a sexed sense, it’s nature, not some identity like right-wing, centrist or left-wing.
It’s clearly so that our brains are biologically female. We’re something in-between, Dr. Milton Diamond called us neuro-intersex.
Let’s focus on the distinction
Also it’s important that people understand what hormones and surgery does to the body.
Cis people treat us as if we wear⤵️
My brain always, on some level expected my body and genitalia to be female. That has zero to do with ‘gender’, but sex
It’s psychological sex.
Not all of us are feminine, many are very butch an unwomanly, they still experience the sense of being trapped in the wrong body.
The simplicity was appealing
And that simple rigidity becomes more appealing in reaction to the proliferation of gender descriptors
But what do genes matter without gene expression
Do the labels describe & communicate reality
You can’t have a dick “so small that you stop being a man”. And it’s insane that “progressives” need to have that spelled out for them.
That’s fine. I wish I were a biological woman, but it’s something I can never have.
