I think by default ACLU's Chase Strangio who argued before SCOTUS recently is the leader. Chase believes that Chase is a biological male! If this person who denies scientific reality in favor of a fantasy belief is "leadership" no wonder the trans community is lost and losing.

And I agree we clearly haven't been doing an effective job on countering the anti-trans movement and its massive propaganda push. If anything, fuel was thrown on the fire.

Perhaps it's time we stop isolating this as exclusively a trans issue, make it more about privacy/individual autonomy for all Americans?

I don't think it's gonna matter at all under Trump, but it's better to build a game plan for upcoming elections.

Nope, it's backlash to how the trans community has changed its beliefs. The change from transexual to transgender was key. Believing that gender ID trumps bio sex is new & an irrational idea. The majority of Democrats aren't buying it, that's the reason for the overwhelming rejection.
