@brianna.bsky.social why are you so against trans girls competing in female sports when the science clearly does not support a blanket ban in a single sport? It can't be due to fair play, trans girls are the worst performed females in all levels of female sports over the last 25 years.

There is no other area in a trans girls life that has placed as many safe guards and barrier to entry into the female space in sports. Also there is no other space in the trans conversation that openly recognises the realities of chromosomes & T levels.

Every single trans sports policy that's ever been developed has allowed the sports org to either extend the minimum period of hormonal reduction or deny a trans girl the rights that compete in female category if a strength, speed, endurance or physique disparity exists.

We have further safe guards in Australian and UK laws that allows sports to legally deny access to the female category if once again, a strength, speed, endurance &/or physique disparity exists. 99.9% of trans athletes support this safeguarding & mitigation requirements in competitive sports.

By far the largest majority of trans peeps that play sports are trans kids. Yet trans kids are massively underrepresented in youth sports. 68% of cis youth play sports compared to 12% of trans girls & 14% of trans boys.

Most Americans think the two boxers in Paris were trans. If they were trans women they would have been made to have reduced their T for a minimum of two years as a prerequisite to compete. Most Americans think Bill can change into Betty and compete at the Olympics the very next day.
