writing an RF equivallent of Flatland would be a delightful (and no doubt challenging) exercise, but I'm not sure how approachable it would be to a standard audience, compared to the thought-provoking but easy-to-warm-up-to concept of dimensions. Flatland is a good book because anyone can read it
